Terms of Service

Vanampadi is a place for conversations inside communities. These Terms explain what you can expect from us and what we ask of you when you use the forum.

Your account

You sign in with a Bluesky account. Your account and its personal data server are run outside Vanampadi, so their own terms also apply. Keep your sign-in details safe and use an account that belongs to you.

Communities and posts

You can join communities, start topics, and reply to other members. You may own one community at a time. If you create one, you can set its rules and manage it, but you are still responsible for following these Terms.

Keep discussions useful and respectful. Do not harass or threaten people, impersonate someone else, post scams or spam, share someone’s private information without permission, upload content you do not have the right to use, or use the service to break the law. Do not try to disrupt or abuse the site.

What happens to your content

Your posts and replies are written to your AT Protocol account and shown on Vanampadi. Images attached to posts are hosted by your account’s data server. We also keep a local copy of the details needed to display discussions and manage communities. Your content remains yours. You give us permission to display, store, and moderate it as part of running Vanampadi.

Topics, replies, community details, and public profiles can be seen and shared by other people. Please think before posting anything personal or confidential. Deleting something here may remove our copy, but it cannot erase screenshots, search results, or copies held elsewhere on the network.

Moderation

We may hide or remove content from Vanampadi, restrict an account, or close a community when needed to enforce these Terms, protect members, or comply with the law. Community owners can set additional rules for their spaces. If you think we made a mistake, write to hello@vanampadi.com.

Using the service

We work to keep Vanampadi available, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Other members speak for themselves; we do not verify every post or guarantee advice found in a discussion. Check important information with a reliable source.

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by other members’ content or by an interruption outside our reasonable control. Nothing here takes away rights that the law says you cannot waive.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the forum changes. We will show the updated date on this page. Malaysian law applies to these Terms, subject to any consumer protections that must apply where you live. Questions about the service or these Terms can be sent to hello@vanampadi.com.
